The Ebola virus has saturated our news cycle in the last month. Some of the information has been confusing and inconsistent. The Ebola epidemic of 2014 is the largest in this virus’ history, affecting many countries in West Africa. The countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have had the largest numbers of infections. The most recent World Health Organization (WHO) death toll is as high as 15,000, with a death rate of 70 percent.
