Seven weeks ago, the Barnes Foundation debuted an exhibition aiming to offer visitors an unprecedented assessment of the still life paintings of 19th-century Post-Impressionist Paul Cezanne. But for those who haven’t had the occasion or the inclination to visit the Barnes since its controversial move from the Main Line to the Ben Franklin Parkway two years ago, the Cezanne show presents an appetizing opportunity to take a closer look at the museum itself, too.

The Picasso Project, a Public Citizens for Children and Youth mini grant program that brings arts education to schools that have very limited arts instruction, awarded more than $60,000 in grants to 14 Philadelphia schools, including Allen Stearne Elementary and Swenson Arts & Technology High School in Northeast Philadelphia.
Contractors who submit permit applications to the Department of Licenses and Inspections will have to submit “tax clearance” forms and show they have insurance. Contractors also must show they have insurance coverage for general liability, workers compensation and automobile liability.
