Three unidentified teenagers broke into a vacant Upper Holmesburg supermarket and set several fires earlier this year, say Philadelphia police, who released surveillance video of the suspects last Thursday.

The crime happened on June 17 at the former Pathmark, 8716 Frankford Ave. The supermarket shut its doors for good in 2015 and remains vacant.

According to police, the building was under renovations when firefighters were dispatched there shortly before 4 a.m. They found several fires inside the property that had been extinguished by a sprinkler system. The flames caused minor fire and smoke damage to the building.

Surveillance video showed three teens or young men trying to break into the building prior to the fires. One suspect was described as white, 17 to 19 years old and thin with facial hair and a tattoo on his left outer calf. He carried a backpack. A second suspect was described as white, 17 to 19 years old and thin with Kinesio Tape on his right arm and right leg. The third suspect was described as black or Latino with a light complexion, thin and 17 to 19 years old.
