At first, David Toledo famously said he wanted to break the hands of the guy who was slashing all of his Mayfair neighbors’ car tires in 2012. When a jury determined that Toledo was in fact the tire slasher, a city judge spared him with what some victims viewed as a slap on the wrist — probation.
He’s been dressed in sequins, in his skivvies, and now musician/actor Nick Cearley is playing the part of Sparky in Plaid Tidings, a special holiday edition of Forever Plaid at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope through Dec. 28.
North America shivers in an Arctic freeze….biting, bitterly cold breezes….brutal, potential, record-breaking low temperatures….Polar Vortex– that arctic cyclone that’s swept down from the North Pole ….what’s next? Frost Quakes? They did happen in Ontario, Canada, on Christmas Eve. Apparently, some kids there thought that the loud snap sounds and the shakes were reindeer on the roof. Closer to home, parts of Ohio experienced Frost Quakes in 2011. It’s winter!
