Nazareth Hospital hosted a blessing and dedication last week to celebrate the opening of its new Infusion Suite. The nearly $1 million construction project began in September and took about three months to complete. It was officially unveiled on March 3.
The Friends of Pennypack Park cleanup committee wrapped up its 2013 schedule by removing 21 trash bags of debris, plus many large items from the woods in the area of Rhawn Street and Lexington Avenue on Nov. 23.

The former Northeast Community Center has a buyer who plans to bring a child daycare center and a meals on wheels program to the Holme Avenue site, according to Holme Circle Civic Association President Elsie Stevens.
