Melanie was abandoned and living in an alleyway in North Philly, scrounging for food, when she encountered a Northeast Animal Rescue volunteer. She proceeded to follow the volunteer to her car.
Melanie is a sweet, playful, curious girl who’s pretty low-key and gets along well with other cats. She can be a little shy at first but will open up once she settles in. She is good with older children and cats, but does not know dogs.
Melanie, 3, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
