Maternity BVM School earns award

For the third year in a row, Maternity BVM School has been recognized as a 2022 School of Distinguished Instruction. Principal Mrs. Mary Zawisza accepted the award from Bishop Michael Fitzgerald and Andrew McLaughlin (Secretary of Elementary Education) at a ceremony at St. Pius X Church in Broomall. This honor is based on BVM students’ performance on last year’s TerraNova test. To achieve this honor, a school must exceed 90% improvement in both growth and potential. In addition to receiving the award, it was announced at the awards ceremony that BVM was one of two schools in the Archdiocese to have 100% of its students achieve this goal. ••
