Fox Chase has moved to the top of the pecking order in the City Planning Commission’s Philadelphia2035 project.
State Rep. Mark Cohen will hold his first Northeast Community Giveback Festival on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lawncrest Recreation Center, 6000 Rising Sun Ave.
The city’s long-term planning initiative known as Philadelphia2035 contains countless localized development projects sought by neighbors in their communities. In Fox Chase, residents may realize two of those wish-list items long before 2035.
The Streets Department’s Leaf and Recycling Program will begin on Monday, Nov. 10, and will run through Friday, Dec. 19.
