Ephraim Goldstein Apartments residents make dog blankets for wildfire victims

In response to the devastating wildfires in Australia, some residents of Federation Housing’s Ephraim Goldstein Apartments, 12003 Bustleton Ave., created homemade dog blankets.

The effort was led by service coordinator Alexandra Demuth, with assistance from assistant property manager Amy Palumbo.

The completed blankets were shipped to a veterinarian’s office in Connecticut, where they then will be mailed to Australia. ••
