Philadelphia police announced an arrest on Tuesday night in the execution-style murders of two women inside a Holmesburg rowhouse on Saturday. The killer appears to have been very familiar to the victims.
A Holmesburg man has been ordered to stand trial for the Feb. 2 murder of Torresdale resident Rasheed Shannon.
A Holmesburg man was charged with murder after he allegedly shot another man in the face during an argument on Feb. 2. Claude Thomas, 27, of the 4700 block of Vista St., wounded Rasheed Shannon once in the face as the two quarreled in the street near Thomas’ home at about 1:45 p.m., police said.
