Driscoll endorsed by Pennsylvania Association of Realtors

The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors has endorsed Democrat Mike Driscoll in the 173rd Legislative District. Driscoll faces Republican Mike Tomlinson in the Nov. 4 election.

If elected, Driscoll plans to focus on education, lower taxes and the local housing market.

City Councilman Ed Neilson (D-at large) will hold his third annual craft beer tasting on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Katie O’Donnell’s, 4501 Woodhaven Road.

Next year, he is expected to run in the Democratic primary for a full four-year Council term. However, his name has also been mentioned as a possible candidate in a special election, if Sen. Mike Stack is elected lieutenant governor in November. Other top contenders include state Rep. John Sabatina Jr. and Shawn Dillon, Democratic leader of Ward 66-A. ••
