Amy Kurland, Philadelphia’s inspector general, told members of the Burholme Community Town Watch and Civic Association that her office is trying to erase Philadelphia’s reputation as being “corrupt and contented.”
The Burholme Community Town Watch and Civic Association met on Sept. 11, and members gave a standing ovation to 2nd Police District community relations officer Dianne Murphy in observance of the 13th anniversary of the terrorist bombings that killed hundreds of first responders.
