As a senior on the highly-successful Archbishop Ryan girls soccer team that’s lost just one regular season game in the last two years, Briana Egenlauf doesn’t have much left to check off her bucket list before graduation.
In 2012, the Archbishop Ryan girls soccer team didn’t lose its first game of the season until Nov. 6. It was the Ragdolls’ only blemish of the season, a 1-0 first round state tournament defeat at the hands of Central Bucks West.
It was a family affair Saturday afternoon as Archbishop Ryan High School visited St. Basil Academy in a non-league varsity soccer game.
The lovely ladies of Northeast Philadelphia have once again stormed the soccer field, and it looks like any one of the four local squads could be solid contenders for the championship this season.
