The parade will kick off at noon at Frankford and Rhawn and travel south to Knorr Street.
The Mayfair Business Association met last week to discuss the 42nd annual Mayfair-Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade and other upcoming activities.
The parade will take place on Sunday, Nov. 18, along Frankford Avenue. It’ll start on Frankford Avenue at Rhawn Street at noon and continue south to Knorr Street.
Scouts will collect non-perishable food donations, and there will be boxes at Knorr Street for donations to Toys for Tots.

In other news from the Nov. 5 meeting:
• The MBA will participate in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 24. Consumers are encouraged to walk, shop and dine in the businesses, boutiques, restaurants and taverns on the commercial corridor from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be sidewalk sales, special promotions and discounts.
• The MBA will hold a Christmas village and tree-lighting ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Frankford and Cottman avenues. There will be music, vendors, food, Grey Lodge Pub beer, an appearance by Santa Claus and Toys for Tots donation boxes.
