Millbrook Civic Association board members won’t stand for election at the end of this month. Only the current board members were nominated during the association’s Oct. 28 session at the Calvary Athletic Association.

The group may also take a stand against a proposal to post more advertising on the city’s unused public school buildings.
State Rep. Ed Neilson joined members of the 8th Police District Advisory Council recently to recognize five members of the district as Officers of the Year.
