Thomas Farrell and Randy Vogt were recognized as Officers of the Month for March in the 7th Police District during the monthly meeting of the 7th Police District Advisory Council on April 16 at the JCC Klein Branch.
Police Officer Kenneth Hermes was named Officer of the Month during the 7th Police District Advisory Council meeting last Thursday at Nazareth Hospital. Hermes captured a burglar in the act of his crime at a Somerton pharmacy.

Jeremiah Daley oversees a multimillion-dollar narcotics enforcement agency that reports directly to the White House. Yet, illicit substances like heroin, cocaine and marijuana aren’t atop his agenda when he speaks to community groups like the 7th Police District Advisory Council.
There will be no more free lunches in the 7th Police District Advisory Council. From now on, there’s going to be a little bit of work involved. Chairman Mike Myers delivered that message to 7th PDAC members during the group’s meeting on Feb. 20 at CORA Services.
