Tompkins VIST Bank and Rotary Club donate to Fox Chase Elementary

A generous donation: Tompkins VIST Bank and the Rotary Club of Northeast Sunrisers last week donated $1,000 to Fox Chase Elementary School for books for the school library. The donation was made during a Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce business card exchange at VIST, at 8000 Verree Road (at Rhawn Street) in Fox Chase. ••


Autism Project funds Northeast programs

Sensory Story Time at Torresdale Library and an African and Caribbean Autism Awareness Program in the Northeast are among a dozen projects throughout the city that received seed money funding from the Philadelphia Autism Project in partnership with Drexel University’s ASERT Collaborative.

A beautiful day in the neighborhood

Celebrating the community: The Mayfair May Fair took place on Saturday, May 16, on Frankford Avenue. The festival included sand art stations,  balloon making, live music, food and games.
