Philadelphia residents will be able to dispose of their household hazardous waste on April 19 during the Streets Department’s Drop-Off Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 8401 State Road (State and Ashburner).

Office of Oz: American Heritage Federal Credit Union turned its Bustleton campus into the “Land of Oz” on April 9 as part of its Employee Appreciation Day. Employees enjoyed games throughout the day while competing for the title of Employee Appreciation Day Champions. Flyered up: The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame currently has a display marking the 40th anniversary of the Philadelphia Flyers’ first Stanley Cup championship victory. The display is also part of the 85th birthday of Spike’s Trophies, at 2701 Grant Ave. There is various memorabilia displayed in connection with the Flyers championship team, including signed champagne bottles, skates, kneepads and hockey sticks.
