Autism Project funds Northeast programs

Sensory Story Time at Torresdale Library and an African and Caribbean Autism Awareness Program in the Northeast are among a dozen projects throughout the city that received seed money funding from the Philadelphia Autism Project in partnership with Drexel University’s ASERT Collaborative.


Local students awarded scholarships

American Heritage Federal Credit Union eased the financial burden of college expenses for 20 college-bound students and credit union members by awarding each a $1,000 scholarship.

More than 100 people attended the Taste of Israel event on April 28 and enjoyed traditional cuisine.
