Phillie Phanatic to attend June 19 fundraiser

The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation is teaming with Rita’s Water Ice to celebrate the end of the school year — and the start of summer — while benefitting a great cause. The Blowout Bash: Scooping for Hearts will be on Thursday, June 19, starting at 6 p.m. at Rita’s original location, 3610 Bristol Pike, in Andalusia.

Phils partner with Catholic Charities

After a successful turnout last season, the Catholic Charities Appeal will partner again with the Philadelphia Phillies for Catholic Charities Night. A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through a dedicated link will go directly to the appeal.


Hamels donates to St. Jerome parish school

St. Jerome School in Holme Circle received a $10,000 Partners in Education Grant from The Hamels Foundation on May 30 to furnish and supply a STEM Lab for St. Jerome’s.
