Frankford zoning group approves two neighborhood projects

The Frankford Neighborhood Advisory Council’s Zoning Committee last week approved variance applications for two neighborhood properties. There were no objections to plans to put an addition on the rear of 4314 Leiper and also make the single-family home a duplex. Similarly, there were no objections to legalize multifamily units at 1652 Haworth.

Scouts spread friendship

The Tzofim-Israeli Friendship Scout Caravan visited the Klein JCC for an hour of music and poetry in celebration of Israel and Jewish history on Aug. 8. The performers helped visitors perform traditional Hebrew dances and also dedicated a song and slideshow to the current conflict in Gaza.
