When Steve Schmidt and Larry Teal started thinking about a Cardinal Dougherty High School soccer hall of fame, they knew it would take a lot of work. They also knew the school had a lot of quality soccer players who deserved recognition.
The Archbishop Ryan girls volleyball team recently held a fundraiser for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The team, led by coach Nora Kramer (Ryan class of 1973), sold T-shirts and raised more than $500. The money went to Ryan’s guidance office for materials and supplies on suicide prevention and awareness. ••
