Burholme Golf upgrades discussed at community civic meeting

John Kirincich, a partner in the Burholme Golf & Family Entertainment complex at 401 Cottman Ave., told members of the Burholme Community Town Watch and Civic Association that exciting changes are coming.

Kirincich, appearing at the group’s April meeting, said a family game room/party room is coming to the facility later this spring. The room will feature skee ball, air hockey, pop-a-shot, video games and a prize counter. It replaces a former pro golf shop.

Since taking over management two years ago, Kirincich and his two partners have put up new batting cages and netting, installed new equipment on the golf driving range and improved the landscaping on the miniature golf course. There’s also a snack bar on site.

On a down note, Kirincich said the popular huge golf ball landmark on the grass of the driving range will not be replaced because the mold is no longer made.
