Teresa R. Fernandes was among the student members of the University of Scranton’s chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association, which was awarded Gold Chapter Honors for attaining a distinguished level of achievement in the areas of member recruitment and engagement, community outreach and service, legislative advocacy and fundraising during the 2022-23 academic year. Fernandes is a communication sciences and disorders major. ••
More than 10,500 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5.
