The Lawncrest Community Association last week held its annual holiday party at St. William’s Monsignor James E. Mortimer Memorial Hall, Argyle and Robbins streets.

Among those in attendance were Police Chief Inspector Michael McCarrick, commander of north regional operations and former commander of the 2nd Police District from 2005 to 2012; Capt. Marc Metellus, current commander of the 2nd; Sgt. Nick Cione, of the 2nd district; state Sen. Tina Tartaglione; City Councilman Anthony Phillips; state Rep. Anthony Bellmon; and Sean Kilkenny, a ward leader and aide to Councilman Jim Harrity. ••
