CORA Services awards local student scholarship

Elementary school student Dan Goldstein won a $1,000 scholarship for the school of his choice.

Helping his peers: Dan Goldstein, a recent graduate of St. Martha Elementary School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

CORA Services awarded Dan Goldstein a $1,000 scholarship to the high school of his choice because of his participation in the agency’s peer helper program.

The peer helper program fosters leadership and enables students to mentor younger children and serve as positive role models in their schools. It was established in 1993.
