The former editor-in-chief of Newspaper Media Group was sentenced to five years probation on Oct. 5 after pleading guilty to endangering the welfare of a child following an arrest in April.

On Friday, Oct. 5, Camden County Superior Court Judge Edward McBride Jr. sentenced Timothy Ronaldson to five years of probation, according to Camden County Prosecutor’s Office public information officer Alexandra McVeigh. Ronaldson pled guilty to second degree endangering the welfare of a child in July. This came after Ronaldson was arrested in April on child pornography charges following a search at his home. The prosecutor’s office said detectives located numerous digital devices, which were seized from the home and sent to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic lab for analysis.

In addition to probation and jail time, Ronaldson is also required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law and forfeit all digital devices. ••
