David Torres, the Republican candidate in the 2nd Congressional District, held a fundraiser on Saturday night at Nick’s Roast Beef, 4501 Woodhaven Road.
Among the guests was U.S. Rep. GT Thompson, of Central Pennsylvania.

Thompson was impressed that the Torres campaign provided food for 3,500 families earlier in the week.
“That is a servant’s heart,” he said.
Thompson also put in plugs for Republican candidates Stacy Garrity (state treasurer), Tim DeFoor (auditor general) and Heather Heidelbaugh (attorney general).
Others in attendance included GOP state legislative candidates Aaron Bashir and Drew Murray, along with Michael Harvey, the Republican candidate in the 3rd Congressional District. ••
