Four NE men nabbed in prostitution bust

Four Northeast residents were among six men arrested by Citywide Vice police for allegedly patronizing prostitutes on Kensington Avenue last Thursday.

Lawrence Kelly, 55, of Lawndale; Vladimir Ferko, 37, of Bustleton; Kostandi Koroveshi, 63, of Holmesburg; and Christopher Schroder, 49, of Frankford allegedly offered cash to undercover police in exchange for the promise of sex. The other “Johns” were Mario Hernandez, 42, of Harrowgate; and Chad Bechle, 40, of Lenhartsville, Pa. All were charged with patronizing prostitution and solicitation. Both offenses are misdemeanors.

Police also confiscated $1,242 cash, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, a 2006 Chevy panel van and a 2008 Ford F-250. ••
