Chico and Prince hoping for new homes

Chico, surrendered for “old man issues,” is a 15-year-old gent with love to give. He’s such a nice, sweet boy who wants nothing more than a warm lap and to be held. He just had some yucky teeth removed and he is feeling great. He loves to meander in the fenced-in yard and be with his people. Want to meet this darling? Email info@tailsuppawsdownrescue.org. ••

Prince is a friendly boy who likes to be around people. He likes to cuddle next to you and occasionally will jump on your lap for some loving and a nap. Prince was rescued after being abandoned by his owner, and he is very happy to be safe inside again.

While Prince is very sweet, he will let you know when he has had enough petting or attention by nipping. Due to this, he will need an experienced owner and a home without children. He is also an occasional “door dasher,” so care needs to be taken when opening doors.

Prince is starting to warm up to the other cats in his foster home, but prefers to be around humans rather than felines. He has not been around dogs.

Prince, 3, is neutered and up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

For more information, to fill out an application, to volunteer at one of Northeast Animal Rescue’s three Pet Valu locations or to submit your rescue pet’s picture for possible use in a 2021 calendar, visit nar.rescuegroups.org. ••
