A Bensalem landlord was arrested Thursday after police said he looted personal items belonging to a tenant who–less than 24 hours before–was murdered in East Frankford.

On Tuesday night, a 31-year-old man, whom police have not identified, was gunned down outside his apartment on the 4200 block of Milnor St. The next day around 5:30 p.m., officers received reports that the man’s landlord was removing items from the property.

And, early Thursday morning, police arrested Dan Charyna, 38, of the 1100 block of Florida Avenue, and he was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft in connection with the incident.

The killing is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made, police said.

NBC10 reported that the shooting stemmed from an argument between the boyfriend and ex-boyfriend of a woman who was there to pick up her baby. ••
