Breakfast bags for seniors on MLK Day

Thirty-five volunteers participated in KleinLife’s Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service by assembling 750 breakfast bags for seniors with donated food items from area Rotary clubs and the Subaru Share The Love food drive. Joining Fredric Byarm, KleinLife food sufficiency director, and Abby Gilbert, executive director of Tikvah AJMI, were volunteers from Congregations of Shaare Shamayim, The Rotary Clubs of Northeast Philadelphia, Cheltenham and Rockledge and Tikvah TJMI. KleinLife is a senior center at 10100 Jamison Ave. ••
