An argument at a Lower Northeast nightclub prompted a shooting that claimed a man’s life and wounded his twin brother on Oct. 30.

Police went to the 700 block of Adams Ave. outside Candelas Bar Restaurant at about 4 a.m. in response to a report of a person with a gun. They found two shooting victims on location.

A man later identified as Nathaniel Rodriguez, 25, of the 3300 block of H St., was suffering from a chest wound. Paramedics took him to Albert Einstein Medical Center in Elkins Park where he was pronounced dead a half-hour later. Another 25-year-old man who was identified in news reports as Rodriguez’s brother had multiple wounds of the abdomen. Paramedics took him to Einstein’s North Philadelphia campus in critical condition.

Authorities later learned that a third wounded man had arrived at Temple University Hospital by private vehicle.

He was listed in stable condition with injuries consistent with having been assaulted. Police released no information about potential suspects or the underlying cause of the argument. ••
