Police are trying to identify the suspected culprit, who was depicted in surveillance video. Police were called to the 8000 block of Erdrick St. to investigate the damage shortly before 8 a.m. on May 14. They did not specify when the vandalism may have occurred. But the video shows a boy walking past the cars and reaching out with an unknown object to scratch them. He was described as black, 12 to 15 years old, wearing a green T-shirt with the number 13 on the back, red pants and dark shoes.

Visit the Philadelphia Police channel on YouTube.com to view surveillance video. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
