Sheni is a beautiful female pit bull mix with a flashy dilute brindle coat. She was brought to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., as a stray. Her tag number is A30920345.

The dog is a bit underweight. She appears to have had some house-training, and walks nicely on a leash. She will also sit for treats, and always takes them gently.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Sunny days are in Etty’s future

Etty is a happy girl who enjoys spending time with people and getting attention. Found as a stray wandering the lonely city streets, she is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

The cat chases toys with her housemates and lounges in a sunbeam. She has a beautiful spirit and a pleasant nature. She gets along with everyone, including the cats and small dog she lives with. Etty, 3, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
