Quadir Jeffries, 24, allegedly conspired with Cori Thompson in the Feb. 13, 2014, home invasion and fatal shooting of Keurlin Charles, Brian Williams and Vagner Freemont on the 6300 block of Martins Mill Road. The DA described the slayings as “execution style.” Two of the victims were bound with electrical cords, while all three were shot in the head.

Jeffries and Thompson allegedly went to the house at about 3 p.m. that Thursday seeking to rob Brian Williams, who had been selling marijuana there, the DA said. The intruders ransacked the place and found a small quantity of marijuana in Brian Williams’ pocket.

Authorities arrested Thompson for his role in the crime in October 2015. Thompson has not cooperated with investigators and is awaiting trial on three counts of murder.

An investigating grand jury linked Jeffries to the crime through forensic and circumstantial evidence. Fired bullet casings found at the scene have been traced to the same gun that was used in another home invasion/shooting that occurred 26 days earlier and for which Jeffries was convicted. Cell phone records placed Jeffries in the area of 6300 Martins Mill Road around the time of the shooting there. Further, evidence showed that Jeffries used Brian Williams’ bank card after the slayings. ••
