Five hurt in six-vehicle crash on Blvd.

At least five people were hospitalized in a massive multi-vehicle crash on Roosevelt Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.

Six vehicles were involved in the wreckage, which occurred at about 12:30 p.m. in the southbound outer lanes near Tyson Avenue, according to news reports. Victims included a man and woman in their 50s, a man and woman in their 60s and a woman in her 20s. Several were taken to Aria Health’s Torresdale Campus and others to Albert Einstein Medical Center, all in stable condition with undisclosed injuries.

Police did not disclose their names or a cause of the crash, which snarled traffic in the area. ••
