A benefit will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Red Rooster Inn, 7960 Dungan Road, for cancer patient Beth Rakowski.
Rakowski, a mother of two, was diagnosed last May with a rare form of vaginal cancer that has recently spread to her lymph nodes.

Tickets are $30 and include beer and food. There will be a 50/50 drawing and chances for baskets.
