On June 14, one of the crooks entered the Republic Bank at 7300 Frankford Ave. in Mayfair, handed a demand note to a teller, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. Investigators believe he’s the same man who robbed another Republic branch at 8764 Frankford Ave. on June 8. He was described as white, in his 20s, thin with blue eyes, a beard and tattoos on both arms. In both cases, he wore a dark baseball cap and carried a messenger bag.

A different unidentified man held up the TD Bank at 3930 Woodhaven Road in similar fashion on June 17. The robbery occurred at about 1 p.m. The crook was described as black, about 5 feet 11, with a medium build, a dark hoodie, a gray Jeff cap and black sunglasses.

Contact the FBI at 215–418–4000 to report information about the robberies. ••
