Man shot six times outside Rhawnhurst bar

An argument outside a Rhawnhurst bar/restaurant led to a shooting that left a man with six gunshot wounds on Saturday.

The altercation occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on the 7900 block of Bustleton Ave., police said. 6ABC reported that it began inside Flames House Grill then spilled outside. Patrol officers found the 33-year-old victim lying in the street with numerous wounds of the torso and legs. Paramedics took him to Aria Health’s Torresdale campus, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

The shooter fled the scene before police arrived. He was described as black, 6 feet tall and thin, wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood pulled tight around his face. He also wore jeans.
