The 38th annual Mayfair Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade will take place on Sunday, Nov. 23, at noon. The rain date is Nov. 30.
The grand marshals will be the staff of Holmesburg Bakery. The theme will be How Sweet It Is.
The route travels south on Frankford Avenue, from Rhawn Street to Knorr Street. Musical groups will perform for three minutes at Tudor Street.

In other neighborhood news, the business association will sponsor a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony and Christmas village on Sunday, Dec. 7, from noon to 5 p.m. outside Republic Bank, at Frankford and Ryan avenues.
The group will also team with the Mayfair Civic Association to hold a Christmas decoration contest for homes and businesses in the neighborhood.
