Awe­some Ali

Ali is a 1- to 2-year-old, 53-pound ter­ri­er/pit bull mix who came as a stray to Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol, at 111 W. Hunt­ing Park Ave. His tag num­ber is A22017739.

The dog loves play­ing with ten­nis balls and spend­ing time out­doors.

Ad­op­tion hours are week­days from 1 to 8 p.m. and week­ends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Have fun with Frito

Frito is a 3- to 5-year-old blue and white short­hair who was found on the streets all by her­self.

The cat is very scared be­ing at Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol, at 111 W, Hunt­ing Park Ave. Her tag num­ber is A22028022. Ad­op­tion hours are week­days from 1 to 8 p.m. and week­ends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Frito en­joys gentle pets and ear scratches. She is vet­ted and vac­cin­ated.

Mag­ni­fi­cent Mag­gie

Mag­gie is a 7-month-old, spe­cial-needs girl who is in foster care via North­east An­im­al Res­cue. She has an ab­nor­mal gait due to past trauma.

Still, she has a great spir­it. She loves adults, kids, dogs and cats. She en­joys play­ing with her toys and tak­ing naps in the sun. She does best on car­peted sur­faces, and has no dif­fi­culty us­ing her lit­ter box.

Mag­gie is spayed and cur­rent on vac­cin­a­tions, and has tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line im­mun­ode­fi­ciency and leuk­emia vir­uses.
