Hibernians to party on Sunday

Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 17 will hold a St. Patrick’s Day party on Sunday, March 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Regina Coeli-Knights of Columbus Hall, at 9617 James St. in Torresdale.

The party will follow the AOH Division 17’s participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade earlier in the afternoon. Tickets cost $30 per adult and $60 per family.

Admission includes food, beer, wine and soda. Entertainment will be provided by the Irish band Ballina and the Celtic Flame School of Irish Dance.

Chest pain lecture is next week

Nazareth Hospital, at 2601 Holme Ave., will host a free panel discussion about chest pain on Tuesday, March 18, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in its Marian Conference Room. Check-in for the event begins at 4:30 p.m.

The panel discussion will focus on the difference between chest pain in men and women, acute coronary syndrome and what routine cardiovascular screenings are needed to stay healthy.

Prior to the discussion, guests will be able to have a blood pressure screening and take a cardiovascular disease risk assessment test. Dinner will be served.

Easter egg hunt registration

Wissinoming Park is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt in April for children from 3 to 8 years old. Preregistration is required and will be held on Saturdays, March 15, 22 and 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wissinoming Park community building or by calling 215–685–1498. Please indicate how many children will attend. ••
