Bank robbery suspect sought

Phil­adelphia po­lice and the FBI are try­ing to identi­fy the man who robbed a North­east bank last Thursday af­ter­noon.

The rob­ber ar­rived at PNC Bank, 2401 Welsh Road, at about 2:45 p.m., handed a threat­en­ing de­mand note to a tell­er, ob­tained an un­dis­closed amount of cash and fled, au­thor­it­ies said. He was last seen trav­el­ing east on Welsh Road.

He was de­scribed as white, in his 30s, 6 feet tall and thin with a mus­tache, beard, gray hooded sweat­shirt, black pants and tat­toos on the right side of his neck. Call 215-686-TIPS or text to PP­DTIP to re­port in­form­a­tion. ••
