Daisy is a 10-year-old cocker spaniel who was surrendered to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control.
The dog had health issues when she was dropped off. She was overweight and has “old lady lumps” on her body. She has done well during the last month in foster care. She gets along well with three other senior dogs.

Betsy is a 5-year-old white and brown tabby female cat in foster care via Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control.
The cat is vaccinated, spayed and chipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
Betsy is a sweet soul and would be great around gentle children. She needs to be the only pet in a home. She is low maintenance, and would be great for an apartment or older person.

Quite a quartet
Elmer, Gretchen, Heather and Malcolm are some of the sweetest and most affectionate kittens around. They are in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue.
Elmer, Heather and Malcolm are siblings who were abandoned together in a crate, just barely weaned. Gretchen was abandoned in a box by herself with nothing but a blanket and some table scraps.
Now rescued and safely in foster care, these 3-month-old kittens have bonded like they have been together all of their lives, and they love to chase their toys and each other, and climb up on laps for attention or a much-needed nap. The energetic and playful kittens would love to find a permanent home.
Elmer, Gretchen, Heather and Malcolm are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and have tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency leukemia viruses.
