Police have nice clear recordings of two guys they believe broke into a car parked on an Oxford Circle street, and detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the men.
According to the Northeast Detective Division, police responding to a report of a theft on the 1300 block of Van Kirk Street at 9:48 a.m. on June 16 were met by people who told them their belongings had been removed from their car.
Police looking at neighborhood surveillance recordings see two men walking on the block and then returning into the camera’s frame carrying a bag. They enter a driveway and begin discarding things from the bag.
Both men are black and about 20 years old. The first was 5 feet 6 inches tall or an inch taller. He had facial hair and weighed about 175 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gray shoes. The other man was a few inches taller and about 10 pounds heavier. He was wearing a black jacket, green pants and brown shoes.
