Phils partner with Catholic Charities

After a suc­cess­ful turnout last sea­son, the Cath­ol­ic Char­it­ies Ap­peal will part­ner again with the Phil­adelphia Phil­lies for Cath­ol­ic Char­it­ies Night. A por­tion of the pro­ceeds from tick­ets pur­chased through a ded­ic­ated link will go dir­ectly to the ap­peal.

The game will be on Tues­day, June 24, at 7:05 p.m. at Cit­izens Bank Park. To buy tick­ets and sup­port Cath­ol­ic Char­it­ies Ap­peal, vis­it www.phil­lies.com/cath­olic­char­it­ies­night.

If 500 tick­ets are sold, Arch­bish­op Chaput will have the op­por­tun­ity to throw out the first pitch and stu­dents from Saint Lucy Day School will per­form the na­tion­al an­them. Seat­ing in sec­tions 101 to 107 will cost $38 each, 201 to 205 $30 each and 301 to 305 $20 each.

Dis­count park­ing is avail­able for $10 at Stella Mar­is Par­ish Church on South 10th Street between Bi­gler and Pack­er. Fath­er DiOrio and EMG In­vest­ments will make a $2 dona­tion for each car parked in the lot. This is a non-tail­gat­ing lot. ••
