Levick needs love!

Levick is a 3- to 5-year-old shepherd mix boy who weighs about 45 pounds. He was found as a stray and brought to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., by a police officer.

Levick is a happy boy who is out of the puppy stage. He is a little nervous in the shelter, but likes to say hello to visitors.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Spend time with OC

OC spent much of his winter on the cold streets of Philadelphia, but is in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue. He is looking for a permanent home.

The 2½-year-old cat is active and fun loving, and enjoys head rubs and being petted. He likes playing with laser pointers, wand toys and catnip bananas.

OC romps around with other cats, but does not like being picked up. He’d do best in a home by himself or with a feline friend of similar personality.

The cat is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
