Topanga is terrific
Topanga is a 2-year-old, brown and white, 33-pound terrier/pit bull mix. She is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A22972361.
The dog is a real gentle, medium-energy sweetheart who is so soft accepting treats from someone’s hand. She loves to roll in the grass and snuggle with people.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Baxter is an affectionate 6-month-old kitten who was rescued from life on the streets. He is in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue.
Baxter is playful and cuddly, and loves to chase his catnip toys. He gets along well with other cats.
The cat is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
