Max needs a new friend

Max is a peppy 15-year-old chi­hua­hua who was sur­rendered to Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol when his own­er de­veloped can­cer. His tag num­ber is A21157204.

The su­perb seni­or is very healthy for his age and is eat­ing pre­scrip­tion diet wet food. He loves be­ing held, cud­dling, belly rubs and check­ing out the neigh­bor­hood and meet­ing oth­er dogs on walks.

Max can live with chill cats and oth­er dogs. He has a touch of sep­ar­a­tion anxi­ety, and would love a home where someone is with him a lot. He is mostly house-trained and hap­pily wears a little di­aper band in the house.

Spotti is a sweet­heart

Spotti is a 1-year-old Or­eo kitty who is very play­ful and so­cial. He is in foster care at the shel­ter at Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol.

Spotti coos like a dove and is great with oth­er cats.

Lav­erne and Shir­ley are a per­fect pair

Lav­erne and Shir­ley are beau­ti­ful calico sis­ters who are about 3½ years old. They are in the care of North­east An­im­al Res­cue.

Lav­erne is talk­at­ive, play­ful and en­er­get­ic. Shir­ley is quiet and re­served. They both love toys, ly­ing in sunny win­dows and get­ting and giv­ing at­ten­tion.

The sis­ters share a spe­cial bond, and must be ad­op­ted to­geth­er. They are spayed, mi­cro­chipped and cur­rent on vac­cin­a­tions, and have tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line im­mun­ode­fi­ciency and leuk­emia vir­uses.
